How did Compass Fresh start?

We started out delivering food to superyachts all over Indonesia. We're talking big, expensive boats. So we had to figure out where to get the best stuff. Then we had to figure out how to get it to Papua while it was still edible. It had to be Lion Air proof. And we nailed it. We have fed guys like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and the guy that invented the plastic pour spouts on milk cartons. That guy is the real genius.

Anyway we thought that if we can get the best goods at the best prices and get them to places nobody has heard of then we can probably get it to Seminyak. Everybody's heard of Seminyak, right? Cos let's face it, Bali Deli used to be WAY better.

What makes you different?

We buy farm direct. We buy to order. We don't sit on stock till it goes a bit brown then hide it under the fresh stuff. That sucks. So your orders take a couple of days to turn around. Sometimes the goods you will receive are still growing when you order them. Seriously. In. The. Ground. Now that's a concept.

Don't believe us? See how long our fresh goods last compared to supermarket goods. Way longer. Because they are fresh. And we process and pack them well. Who else gives their broccoli a bath in ice and colloidal silver? Don't answer that. But you get the picture.

Not bad. What else?

We also look for what is good locally. We love goods by guys like Bali Buda and Down to Earth and Sari Organic so that's what we try to sell. We have a balanced range of goods that reflect the way we like to eat. Our Fish is export grade. Our meat is the best local and imported we can find. We have a wide selection of goods for the Pantry which is an old fashioned word for a cupboard with food in it. We also have a great range of food for babies because they eat stuff too don't they?

Hmm sounds good. And you deliver?

Oh yeah we deliver to your door. Well our mates at Go Jek do. We like them cos they have GPS so we all know where they are. This saves a lot of shouting "Kiri!! No I mean kanan!!" down the phone. Just relax and follow the dot on the map. Our team will get them there. No worries.
